Climate Resilience Network is committed to supporting environmental education in underserved schools in Maryland. Climate knowledge gives communities the power to solve Maryland’s most pressing environmental challenges. Teaching Maryland’s students to understand its ecosystems; how to ask questions; and how to solve problems is one part of a multi-pronged approach to making our communities more sustainable and climate resilient. CRN looks forward to collaborating with schools, communities, and local government agencies to supplement science education in public schools, modify infrastructure to withstand more severe weather, and create policies to protect Maryland’s air, drinking water, and ecosystems.
